Spotlight on Alumni Festival
The Alumni Festival is popular with alumni young and old who appreciate the range of academic expertise and insight offered across a plethora of topics. There were 80 sessions during the weekend – more than ever before – offering high-quality talks, discussions, tours, concerts and interactive sessions. Academics from all six Schools, Culture and Collections, and Non-School Institutions interacted with alumni from around the world and representing all 31 Colleges.

On the Saturday, 21 leading academics spoke on topics from evolution to exoplanets and from AI and feminism to the science of surprises. The Festival drew the largest attendance to date with nearly 1,650 attendees, who left inspired by their new insights into leading research and the transformational ideas created at the University.
