Portraits of impact

Philanthropy supports all areas of the University's mission, including academic posts and programmes, research, buildings and equipment, student wellbeing and financial assistance, and libraries and Collections. Many of these are longstanding and responsive partnerships with academics and fundraisers, which enable the University to pursue its strategic institutional goals and to respond to emerging priorities. From conservation research to a pioneering professorship in young people’s mental health, PhD studentships and the establishment of a school of public policy, philanthropy is enabling new and transformative programmes across Cambridge.
